This week we want to continue our series on saving money on your wedding.
Thoughts on your Gift Registry
Years ago people wondered what you would need for your wedding shower, now that don’t have to wonder any longer. Today we’ll send you to some sites that have registries and some guidance about the registry.
We talked earlier about using money to go on your honeymoon, that is something you’ll want to include when you send out your wedding invitations… you’ll want to put in there something about how in lieu of gifts you would like contributions to the “Send us on our honeymoon” fund… or something similar.
One of the easiest places I’ve found for a wedding registry is at the following url -
http://www.giftregistrylocator.com/create_a_registry.jsp
It gives access to about 20 or so different wedding registries online. You’ll need to choose the places that you want to register and do your registration. You can of course choose as many different ones that you want. You can then send your prospective gift givers to one site - http://www.giftregistrylocator.com/home.action
Another option is here - http://www.myregistry.com/
Wal-mart also has a wedding registry - http://www.walmart.com/giftregistry?povid=cat14503-env172199-module021209-lLink2_WR
The next thing you’ll want to do is create a list of things that you would want people to buy you.
Here is a page that will give you some ideas on what to list.

Thank you for the interesting article. Your link to the 20 different registries is a great resource.
