Saving Money on School Portraits

by admin on October 6, 2009

It’s time at our house for school pictures. As I reviewed the brochure that they sent home, this got me to thinking that there has to be a way to save some money.  The ‘best’ package they had to offer had 4 8 x 10’s 4 5 x 7’s and about 50 wallets for $85… come on.

I did a quick search online and without very much effort found a deal with shutterfly that had 10 8 x 10’s, 20 5 x 7’s and 200 4 x 6’s for less than 70 bucks.

With them you could also have different pictures (not just the one pose), the only drawback of course is that you would have to take your own pictures.

So how do you take a good portrait?

Here are 19 tutorials for taking the perfect picture.
