Remember it’s the little bits that add up

by admin on August 7, 2008

In the guide we talk about how making small changes can make a big difference.

I had driven to my parents house to take my Mom a computer that I wasn’t using anymore. I called Lisa to tell her that I had made it and she mentioned that she had some prescriptions at CVS. When I got home, she mentioned the prescriptions again so I ended up going to get them.

If I had thought about it some I should have picked up the prescriptions on the way home - that would have saved me about a gallon or so of gas. I know that a gallon doesn’t seem like much but if I save a gallon every day… in a year thats 365 (and at $3.80/ gallon thats almost $1400).

So just remember that small changes can make a huge difference.
