Last week we had a power outage… Imagine have 3 teenagers (or close to teenagers) with no access to myspace, the internet, and afraid to use their cell phones becasue they didn’t know when they would be able to charge them again.
So we made shadows with flashlights.. and while I’m sure it wasn’t as fun as chatting with friends on myspace the kids did have a good time.
First we just made shapes like bunnies, a dog, giraffe etc. Here are some ideas for the shadows. http://pbskids.org/zoom/activities/do/shadowanimals.html
Then we made our own movie and had everyone “play a character” and we ad libed the script as we went along.
