We had some hiccups last week on the hosting. Hopefully this week will go better and we’ll resume our normal posting schedule.
Cash for Clunkers was a hit - if you figure an average of $4,000 for each rebate then there were about 250,000 new cars sold last week. They’ve added a couple of billion to the pot, but if you’ve been putting it off, now may be the time to act.
We went on our annual school shopping trip last week. If you dig around enough you’ll find some good bargains around. A few shops had some really good sales (like buy one get one for jeans), graphic tees for 10 bucks. Just make sure that you check out the shops you’re thinking about shopping at first. Then shop at the store with the best prices.
We also went to an early show of Transformers 2 for $4.50 / ticket. I enjoyed Transformers 1 and 2 was good as well.
